Faith Kirkman

Mrs. Faith Cornelia Berrier Kirkman, 95, of Eastside Drive, died Monday, April 23, at her home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, April 30 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Ray Howell III. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 prior to the service. Mrs. Kirkman was born September 3, 1922 in Davidson County to Lewis Monroe Berrier and Martha Seable Tate Berrier. She operated Kirkman Flower Shop for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.O. Kirkman, Jr, who was a former owner of Davidson Funeral Home; her daughter in law, Martha Blackwood Kirkman, her brothers, McCoy Berrier and David Berrier, her dear sister, Louise Michael, her brothers in law, A. Victor Kirkman, Sr. and Jack Michael and her son in law Ted Anderson. She is survived by her son, Larry R. Kirkman, of Charlotte; her daughter, Lynda Anderson, of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Sandra Higgins and John Kirkman, and her great-grandchildren, Connor Higgins, Aidan Higgins, Michaela Kirkman, Christian Kirkman, and nephew Victor Kirkman, Jr. and wife Jackie. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 436, Lexington NC 272923 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
