Jeffrey Douglas Keller

Mr. Jeffrey Douglas Keller, age 57 of Lenoir passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Lenoir with the Rev. Brent Dula officiating. Masonic Rites will be given at the church by Hibriten Masonic Lodge #262. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church. The public may come and view at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2024.

Jeff was born January 20, 1967, in Burke County to Garland Douglas and Sandra Janette Marler Keller. He was a member of the Hibriten Masonic Lodge #262 and was a graduate of Gupton Jones University in Atlanta, GA with a degree in Funeral Service. Jeff was currently employed at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. He formerly worked for Caldwell County EMS as a paramedic and was a volunteer fireman for Kings Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to tell TALL TALES and was a prankster. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Walker Keller of the home; daughter Meleah Keller Greene and husband Adam of Lenoir; two stepdaughters, Lacey Huffman and Stacey Huffman; stepson, Landon Huffman; six grandchildren, Wyatt Greene, Aaliyah, Calix, Lennix, Brinley and Caybree; two brothers, Brent Keller and wife Jackie of Hickory and Chris Keller and wife Perry Jean of Hudson.

Pallbearers will be Adam Greene, Terry Handy, Terry Taylor, Andy Minton, Randy Laws, Joey Kirby, Landon Huffman and Tyler Keller. Honorary pallbearer is Jim McElveen.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Amorem Hospice of Lenoir, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
