Mary Mauldin

Mrs. Mary Patterson Mauldin, 94, of Durham, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Mrs. Mauldin was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she completed a study of the entire Bible. She was one of the best mommas in the world and made the best fudge. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe H. Mauldin. She is survived by her sons, Douglas Mauldin, Herman Mauldin, Harold Hill, Funeral Director Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh, and Charles Hill; three daughters, Treva Lemmons, Joy Allen and Carol Ann Murray; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a very special granddaughter, Chanda Wynne. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
